Sexual wellness treatment and coaching in Turkey

For a better sexual performance and a better quality of life

Sex is a very important part of our daily lives. As a practising physician for over 30 years, Prof Hattat has become aware of how common sexual problems are, and how detrimental to a couple's self esteem and overall quality of life they can be. The impact of a sexual problem or even a decrease in sexual performance can be enormous and may be deeply traumatising.

Male and female sexual dysfunction can be associated with metabolic syndrome, defined as the clustering of several of the following key symptoms: insulin resistance, central obesity, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.

The Hattat Team has developed a programme of One-On-One Health Coaching for better sexual performance.

Hattat Sexual Dysfunction Unit provides impotence treatment, penile aesthetics and penis enlargement operations.

impotence and erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction, frequently referred to as impotence, is the persistent or recurrent inability to attain or maintain an erection sufficient to complete sexual intercourse or another chosen sexual activity. It is a common problem which affects at least one in every ten men, but regrettably only about 10% of sufferers actually receive treatment.

What treatments are available for erectile dysfunction?

  • Sex and/or couple's therapy

  • Intracavernosal injection therapy
  • Transurethral therapy
  • Vacuum constriction devices
  • Oral Treatments
  • Hormone treatment
  • Surgical treatments
  • Penile prosthesis

Penile aesthetics

Penile augmentation (also known as phalloplasty, penile enchancement, penis enlargement) is intended to increase the size of a penis, offering patients enhanced confidence and sexual pleasure. Penis enlargement surgery consists of two surgical procedures to enlarge the penis, one is used to increase the girth of the penis, the second is used to increase the length of the penis.

Typically, patients opt to have both penis enlargement procedures carried out at the same time. Traditional penile-enhancement surgery involves one or both of two basic procedures.

Peyronie's disease causes an uncommon sexual dysfunction that results from a bent penis during erection. The disease is characterized by a hard, fibrous layer of scar tissue (plaque) that usually develops under the skin on the upper or lower side of the penis. When the penis is erect, the scar tissue pulls the affected area off at an angle, causing a curved penis.

Penile prostheses

A penile implant is usually used when there is a clear medical cause for erectile dysfunction, and when the problem is unlikely to resolve or improve naturally or with other medical treatments. Sometimes a penile prosthesis is implanted during surgery to reconstruct the penis when scarring has caused erections to curve (Peyronie's disease). Penile prostheses are devices that are implanted completely within the body. They produce an erection-like state that enables the man who has one of these implants to have normal sexual intercourse. Neither the operation to implant a prosthesis nor the device itself will interfere with sensation, orgasm or ejaculation.

Satisfaction rates with the prosthesis are very high, and typically 80%-90% of men are satisfied with the results and say they would choose the surgery again.

Female sexual dysfunction

Female sexual dysfunction

Sexual dysfunction includes desire, arousal, orgasmic and sex pain disorders (dyspareunia and vaginismus). The Hattat Hospital team of experts assume a proactive role in the diagnosis and treatment of these disorders. Long-term medical diseases, minor ailments, medications and psychosocial difficulties, including prior physical or sexual abuse, are etiologic factors. Gynaecologic maladies and cancers (including breast cancer) are also frequent sources of sexual dysfunction. Patient education and reassurance, with early diagnosis and intervention, are essential for effective treatment.

What causes female sexual dysfunction?

  • Medicines, diseases (like diabetes or high blood pressure), alcohol use, or vaginal infections can cause sexual problems

  • Depression, an unhappy relationship or abuse (now or in the past) can also cause sexual problems

  • You may have less sexual desire during pregnancy, right after childbirth or when you are breast-feeding

  • After menopause many women feel less sexual desire, have vaginal dryness or have pain during sex

  • The stresses of everyday life can affect your ability to have sex. Being tired from a busy job or caring for young children may make you feel less desire to have sex. Or, you may be bored by a long-standing sexual routine.

Vaginaplasty

Vaginaplasty is a surgical procedure that is used for tightening loose or flaccid vagina muscles. At times, vaginaplasty, which is also known as vaginal rejuvenation, may be carried out with some other procedures like perineoplasty and labiaplasty, depending upon the problems that a patient is facing.

The most common surgical procedures associated with vaginaplasty are:

  • Labiaplasty - a reduction in the size or removal of pigmentation of inner or outer lips to improve function, appearance and sometimes comfort

  • Vaginal rejuvenation or vaginal tightening (with or without a laser) - tightening of the vaginal canal and entrance to a pre-child or virgin-like state

  • Clitoral Hood Reduction - an increase in stimulation by removing or lessening of excess tissue around the clitoris

  • Hymenoplasty - reattaching the hymen (most commonly for religious purposes or as a celebration of a strong union)

  • Liposuction of Mons Pubis - removal of fat pad that covers the pubic bone
